Melodyne no sound

Some things make me tired. I had Melodyne working with X3 the other day like a charm. I had no sounds first when trying to monitor the moving of notes. I can't remember how I fixed that. This still works on some other track but when I do some retakes of the lead, the new melodyne region fx clips don't respond to monitor clicking on those notes. Still, I can see the meter moving in the upper left window...
