I usually don't like music by small groups like trios or quartets because I favor larger arrangements, but this is an interesting piece. I kept hearing other instrumentation in my head though, can't help that. Regards, Dan

Is this real or is it Kontakt? Nice job either way . After awhile I started to think maybe the staccato strings were some kind of a programmed thing. The sounds themselves are excellent.

This is my kind of music. I listened over again I enjoyed it so much. I see it as a sound track (suspense, thriller, maybe). I guess there is more to the composition, being an excerpt and all? A little more light and shade throughout would have really upped the overall feel, but maybe the rest of the piece provides this?

Thanks Dan. I would like to orchestrate this with string sections. Thanks John. Thanks Scottytunes. Thanks Starise. I used Vienna Instruments (solo strings library) through Vienna Ensemble Pro and MIR. Thanks markno999. Thanks rebel997. I will post a more developed version of this in the near future. Thank you for lending me your ears. Marko

That sounded great. There are parts of the sound that give it away as sampled, but it's not distracting by any means. It sounds musical and that's what counts. Good writing. Can you tell us a bit about your composing process?

jsaras, Thanks for listening. Which parts are the give away? The idea for this came from a pattern I was improvising on a marimba. I will post the full piece soon. It's a development of a familiar theme, marko

Very nice - I like it, I enjoy small string sections. What's in a trio - violin, viola and cello?
