Transposing problems

I'm using SONAR X1 Producer and installed all available updates (Xd).  Since this weekend the software does not "save" the transposition of tracks notes (I was transposing perfectly for a year).  It just permits the transposition "on screen" (and you can play the song in a different key), but when I close out the midi file (I only use MIDI projects, not audio), I click the "save" or the "save as" key, and when I re-open the song, the tracks are in the "0" key value (in the original key).  This occurs in both transposing commands (using the INSPECTOR or "alt t"). Even in one song SONAR lets me decrease the key to 5 of the tracks and the 6th and 7th it doesn't.  Also, while using the transposition command, the program "scratches" and gets closed very often (not at all times).

I'm saving as a midi file. (Format 1)
I’m using WINDOWS 7 (64 bits) in a brand new i7 Lenovo laptop.
I have just uninstalled SONAR X1, and reinstalled it back (it presented one registry error, and I clicked “retry”, and the same error appeared. Then, I click “ignore” (not recommended) and finished the installation.  Without installing the next 3 discs, I made a short test, but the problem continues.  I'm now installing discs 2-4.  I need your help, since I did not find the answer in none of your available helps or troubleshooting.  Support office is closed today.

If I save the song as a .cwp file, the change is done permanently.  However, I have my module at home and I can't make a sound test now with this cwp file.  What is rare is that since 2012 I was saving the transposed songs as MIDI Format 1 files without trouble.

First this is not the forum for the x series, but your issue is the same with all versions I think.

When you transpose, does the data move in piano view?
You see there are 2 transpose functions, one is applied and moves the notes up or down, The other just plays the data back on the fly in the new key. Because your using X version I'm not clear on this but in 8.5 you use the process menu and the data will change. You can highlight the notes in the piano view and drag it up or down too.

I edit midi files all the time and I will save them as both a mid. file and the CWP file.
I save the mid. files as I might open them in Cubase or?
Sonar has some buggy stuff for midi files, Example just try finding an embedded Program change (PG) they don't always show in the event list and you'll go nuts when the track keeps reverting to the original sound no matter where you try and change it.
You might need to do some set up on your laptop, Run the DPCLAT test and see if your in the green.
