matrix view question

Hello Sonar users!
 
Is it possible to play clips in the matrix view, whilst simultaneously recording the clip output AND live instruments (eg from a mixer to the sound card,) into their own separate tracks in the arranger/project view? 
 
What I mean is play clips and record the with the Capture Matrix Performance, whilst recording guitarists etc on their own linear tracks...

    Yes, you can capture (record) the Matrix cell playback while recording audio and/or MIDI (in separate tracks) provided your hardware has the capacity.
