Interesting sounds. Sounds balanced to me except the guitar could come up a bit in the mix. I don't personally know what your shooting for other than you mention ambient and so that was accomplished. Lots of cool textures and the vibe is mellow. Very creative exercise. Enjoyed the soothing sound over coffee. Peace and Blessings, John

One should not describe yourself as a bottom feeder because you are using anyone peice of equipment, it is about the music first and err, last not how you get there. I like it, though some may mention length, as for mix generally it is quite well balanced though I would be tempted to roll off some of the bass boom as it gets going it, for me, swamps slightly. Plenty to keep my furry ears interested look forward to some more from you. Thanks for sharing

thx for the feedback... I haven't posted very much in this particular forum, so I thought I'd jump in and hopefully start participating on other threads as well as time permits. This one I couldn't feel confident for whatever reason, on the EQ, cause all the instruments and sounds are basically fake.... iow...no mics...and sometimes stuff gets real full, too quick. I can appreciate the "swamps slightly" too. thx again, Chris

That was quite cool. I think the guitar could come up a bit--nice playing. I don't know if you are a Rush fan, but that was some serious 1987 Alex Lifeson tone you have going there (its a good thing).

I wud even say there is some Jamie West-Oram tone in here (the Fixx), and this is a very good thing! I enjoyed, though I am no instrumental music lover and always am missing something if there are no vocals to be found...

It's great. Did you get that, it's great. love this sort of music. My opinion is that it's a little bass heavy, it really rumbled the bottom end, maybe a little too much, but I thought it was just sublime.

Mixmkr, Listened to this a few days ago but my browser crashed in the midst of writing a response and I didn't get back to it. Really interesting piece. I liked the sound effects at the intro, that little percussive synth stab sounds like Law and Order. Well produced throughout and the mix sounds great. I love the clean, percussive sound of the guitar. Very good, it stands as is but you could also add some vocals or lead instrument as well. Regards

I enjoyed this exercise very much. It filled my speakers with interesting textures and movements. The EQ sounds good on my system and to my ears. I find it to be well balanced from top to bottom. Kudos!
