Magix Movie Edit Pro Sale

I have never used this program, but I hear good things about it for those that need a lowcost video editing program.  The features look great at this pricepoint. The Vegas sale posted in this forum is unbelievable.  If you have the spare post xmas cash to get it, that is the way to go, but if your means or more modest, this might be worth checking out: http://www.magix.com/us/m.../detail/special-offer/

    They also have the Music Maker program ($59.99) with 3 Soundpools ($40 each) and Music Studio 2 ($49.99)
    for the same deal...$49.99

    Not a spectacular program, but will do the job for a novice...

    That vegas deal is so good you have to wonder if the software was obtained from the back of an El Camino ownded buy a guy named Vinnie

    I think the Vegas deal is because Sony is changing their retail SKUs. They are discontinuing the package with Vegas and Soundforge. Now there's a package with Vegas and Hitfilm, and a different package with Soundforge and SpectraLayers. So retailers are probably cleaning out the old product package now for a good price.

    makes sense.  I tried hitfilm.  I suppose it would be great if you were staring from scratch, but most who own after affects, Nuke etc tend to pass it up
