What Vocal Editing software is avialable for MC6

I am wanting to get a vocal editing program. I tried the Melodyne Editor free trial and it did not want to work. I am looking for suggestions as to what is available.
I am running Windows XP PRO, SP3, 1TB hard drive, 4x2GB RAM, MC6, Roland Quad-Capture, Roland SD-50.

Well, Melodyne is the best and it should work normally with MC.
Autotune is the next big one and Izotope Nectar is much appraised as well. The free GSnap is one option.

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.

I downloaded the free trial from Melodyne and it loaded, but would not transfer the vocal track. Maybe a purchased version would work, wanted to see what other people were using, and if it was something I could be sure would work.
I just want something to tweek some intonation with, being I was not programed with perfect pitch!

For windows user, a free editing software is Windows Movie Maker.

...but not for pitch correcting vocals... :o)

I too have a PC running XP pro, and run Melodyne Editor without issues.

I used to run it on my laptop with Vista and a duo core processor..... that one took longer to process the track audio..... but it has worked flawlessly on that lappy with MC4,5, & 6 and now with Sonar X1e

if it's not running properly, you might want to contact their tech support to see why not. You are clicking on the button to start the capture ...correct?  Then you hit play and let it enroll the track audio.
