Buffer warning for Melodyne?

Hi all,
I upgraded from X2 to X3(d) a couple of weeks ago, and I like it a lot. I immediately started experimenting with Melodyne. I needed to watch a number of Celemony videos but now I've got it, and I upgraded to the Editor version on the special offer. My question relates to Audio settings in X3, because whenever I first launch Melodyne, it prompts me that my "DAW's buffer is currently too small," suggesting that I set it to 1024 samples.  When I look at Audio Driver Settings under X3 preferences, the Mixing Latency slider is set to 10.0 msec, 442 samples, and the slider is grayed out.
 
My USB audio interface is a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 and everything works well in Sonar, and so far even Melodyne has worked OK. So maybe I'm OK, but the warning is pretty specific, and so far I have only worked with small vocal clips, not with polyphonic material or longer vocal samples, so maybe I haven't pushed things very far yet. I have looked at the Windows sound control properties for the 2i2, and I can't find any way to change that setting at the device level. There appears to be a slightly newer driver version available from the Focusrite site. I can try that I suppose.
 
Is the Mixing Latency buffer size the parameter that Melodyne is warning me about? Any suggestions on avoiding (or safely ignoring) this warning?
 
My system is a Toshiba Qosmio X775 (i7) with 64 bit Win7.

It's a generic warning, if you want to get rid of it just set your buffers to 1024 in mix control whilst using Melodyne (You can always change it back.) or ignore the warning.

Thanks to all for the help and reassurance! I did search the forum before posting the question, but apparently not deeply enough. That earlier discussion that referenced had a lot of in-depth info including comments from someone who was involved with earlier Mel/Sonar beta testing and knew the source of the 1024 recommendation, and who noted that it now seems to be unnecessary.
 
It's good that the buffer size is now more or less non-critical, because at the moment, my audio driver and/or Sonar X3 won't let me change it anyway!

If you are using ASIO drivers you will not be able to move the first slider that you see (it is for WDM drivers)
You should see a button that says ASIO, press that and a separate window will open exposing your ASIO buffer settings.
