Capcha
I couldn't see any other more appropriate place to post this. Sorry. Capcha! Is it just me, or are some of those swirly authorization words just impossible to figure out? If it's numbers, no trouble, but words? I swear I get them right, but I go through as many as half a dozen before it lets me log on.

57Gregy One word: glasses.
It's not "Glasses" that are the problem...sometimes those things are so crossed, and you can't tell if they are upper or lower case, where the spaces are supposed to be, etc....glasses aren't the problem my friend.

They are for me. Hate them, but they're now necessary if I want to read anything.

They're generally case insensitive, and spaces don't matter.

When it comes to Capcha, glasses won't help.

At least most of them have a refresh option now so you can keep hitting that until you find one that's a bit easier to read.

Same issue, half the time they run together so bad that I can't tell if the letters are an "l" with an "n" mashed up next to it, or is it an "h". I have brand new glasses, so eye sight is not the issue. It seems worse on my iPad, by the way, as compared to the computer screen. Maybe because I don't have to do re-log as much on the computer; the "keep me logged in" button does as advertised most of the time on the computer. I have to reset the iPad to "Full Menu" and log in again almost every time on the iPad. I don't recall the iPad issues until the last update to the forum software.

My iPad keeps me logged in fine... Can you press the "Play as audio" button or whatever its called to save trying to read the capcha?

Does that work for you? It just seems to make it totally unlikely that I'll get it. I have to hit my bookmark, check to see if it's one I can make out and then reenter my user/pass/capcha to get on. Very weird. But when it's numbers, no sweat. First time, every time.

KarynMy iPad keeps me logged in fine... Maybe that's the key: just don't ever log out. KarynCan you press the "Play as audio" button or whatever its called to save trying to read the capcha? Never thought of that. Good idea, Karyn.

I don't have a problem with the capcha on the Cakewalk forums, which consists of only 4 clear characters that don't overlap. Most capchas elsewhere are impossible though.
