Help needed ? (please)

Hi - New user here with Sonar X3.
I have installed the software and am navigating around pretty good.
I uploaded my track that I am working on - all went well.
Now a strange thing is happening. When I sing through the mic - the notes that are
coming out are 3-4 notes lower than singing or speaking.
It's like a voice changer/disguiser -very odd.
I am going through M-Audio interchange - using condenser mic. I've tried changing mics - same problem.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Dan

    Welcome to the forum.
Make sure that X3 and M-Audio are using the same sampling rate and bit depth, and that you're using the latest ASIO audio driver that M-Audio has available for your operating system.
