Though it did take some effort and strategical maneuvers.... Clever Beagle deserves to enjoy that plate of chicken nuggets :P

    Hi,

    That is one smart cookie!

On the cat, our neighbor had a Siamese that beat up a German Sheppard into total submission! I think the dog was stunned by the cat just going into an insane rage and moving so fast he couldn't keep up! His ears were so bloody that they took him to the vet!

As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!

    That beagle is brilliant!

What comes to cats and dogs, it's depends on the individual. Some dogs beat almost any cat, some cats beat almost any dog.
Years ago my mother took a 2 year old borshoi (russian wind hound) to her house in the country. The dog had lived all its life in a city flat. When it jumped out of the car in the country, almost immediately it saw neighborgs cat in field about 150 yards away. It simply ran there and killed the healthy, 3-4 year old cat.

The benefit of being a middle aged amateur is the low number of years of frustration ahead of you.

Dr.Frank Insteiner suggested you go a very strict diet. But to heck with that preposterous idea :P .. nothing stopping the Beagle.

I don't know. If that pooch was really that smart, it would have used an oven mitt.
