Love it! I've always been a sucker for this type of music, though I don't know what to call it. What is that affect on the voice? Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Optimus! I used Waves doubler on the verses, also their pitch correction and H-Delay. The last verse is just a filter from Wave Arts Track Plug (Telephone.) Don't know what to call it either: Adult Contemporary? Kiki

Kiki, this is a very pleasant song to listen to. At several points in the tune, it goes in a direction that enhances the arrangement quite nicely. You have a good voice, and your recorded it very well. I look forward to hearing more of your tunes.

Thank you Lynn! It is so hard singing... hate to say it but "thank God" for pitch correction, and Waves. Even WITH the pitch correction, I took EASILY 20 passes to get it right. It took so long to record the vocals I had to write down all the settings and come back days later to try it again. I WILL post more for sure. Thank you again Lynn! Kiki

Loved it Kiki. I love pop so interested to have a listen. Catchy, simple and a well established laid back groove. The vocal treatment works very well. There are always something evolving in the song to keep interest, love when the strings come in. "The indian doctor" lol!!! Cian

Nice tune and production kiki. I do think the pitch correction needs a little tweaking though. I like the idea of it and I don't know waves pitch but, I think you need to smooth out some of the warbling and pitch bends so they are more naturally un-natural.. Nice stuff.

Pleasant easy-going tune Kiki, reminds me of something from the '70's..Seals & Crofts or Clifford T Ward. The vocal treatment puts in a more contemporary 'Owl City' mood though. I hate that effect but it seems to work in this song. Nice chords in the break/middle 8.

Thank you everyone! Yes, the pitch correction was a bit much, and it's not that easy to work with (Waves.) I DID download the Melodyne, but my computer freezes up whenever I begin pitch correcting with Melodyne. Perhaps I need to uninstall/reinstall… or even better… SING it better.

Hi, Kiki, You've got a great sounding pop song with excellent vocals and instrumentation, and a nice clean, modern mix! I really like your voice on this, and the piano and synth parts are really well textured and nicely arranged. Coo stuff, have a good one! Bob

I enjoyed this tune! Its catchy and has enough things going on to keep up the interest. About the autotune... well it had been nicer without it or at least soften it up, but I recognice it when you raise the autotune more and more because the alternative sounds much worse. A tip: Loop record one sentence at a time and try to sing it theatrically 10 times in a row. Then you perhaps have enough material to puzzle an ok vocal version together that dont need that much tuning.

Thank you! I have never loop recorded before... I think I'll YouTube it and check it out... perhaps your idea will do it! However let it be known between the Waves and Melodyne pitch correction, I think Sonar's V-Vocal Editor is superior to them. You really don't appreciate how good it is until you use someone elses... AND it came bundled with Producer 7!! Personally I try to avoid pitch correction... I am 53 and grew up listening to classic recording stars who didn't have the luxury of hard disc recording. I also understand in today's music, when used tastefully it gives much personality to a track. With this song, the whole production was like an artist enjoying the first 3/4" of the painting and then just hurrying up the last 1/4 and finishing it up as fast as possible. Kiki

Ah sorry, now I saw that you have Sonar 7. I'm not sure you can loop record in that version. I think it started with the "take lanes" in X2.
