Impossible

Well I was looking for a place to share music and get to know some other musicians. I used to run a Cakewalk collaboration project back in the early 90s on list before the WWW.

Anyway here is a song I wrote last year. Let me know what you think. I wrote it using Cakewalk Sonar LE on a Roland SD50 and RealGuitar2.

Hey Andrew, this is great, I wasn't sure at the start but it grew on me really quickly.
Particularly like where the bass and kick sit in the mix. The video fits the song to a tee.

Thanks for your kind words. The start is a little more quiet than I intended but I left it like that (too lazy probably). I wrote it about an annoying person that never responded to emails at work.

Ciao Asbro, the video is very particular, the song is just raw !!
sometime the voice is detached from the track ;), but it si very pleasant to listen to.

Very interesting piece and video. I guess you had to be there to know where you were coming from with this piece. Your response was dealing with an annoying person that didn't respond to your email, and so this was your response to that situation. The video, however good, did seem disconnected at times with the music and vocals, But the overall idea and direction was creative and interesting enough to hold my attention through the whole piece.

Peace and Blessings, john

Hey thanks for the feedback.

Just curious what the people meant by "disconnected". Do you mean that it wasn't tight enough to the rhythm?

Yeah it does seem an odd response to the situation, but at the time it was causing me a lot of angst and I find that writing music is the best release for my anxiety.
