Speaker balance problem after installing latest Avid Fast Track Ultra drivers

I'm using X3D and an M-audio Fast Track Ultra
I was usingearlier drivers for the unit, but in dealing with another issue, Cakewalk Support recommended I update to the latest Drivers.  After doing so, I noticed the left speaker was louder than the right- a pretty big difference.  I made no hardware changes, and didn't change any settings.  The FT Ultra control panels shows a balanced input and output- just like the old drivers did.  I have no clue why this would happen.

Is there a way I can test my speaker balance from inside of Sonar?  Do these websites that test this sort of thing really work, or what is the best way to proceeed?
