Scratchy rough PLAYBACK AND INPUT SIGNAL

Forum Community -

I've just had the DUO capture hooked up and installed the LE1 software.  I had to troubleshoot a few things.

I had some latency so I adjusted a couple of things.  I am running the MME driver.  I tried the ASIO however could not get any playback sound so I switched back to MME.

The USB port input had to be changed to support the Duo Capture.  So I had to switch from 3.0 to 2.0.

I'm getting a real rough scratchy input signal and playback.

How can I clean up the input signal?  Could it be a bad Duo Capture?

Thanks

Audio Buffer Playback adjustment fixed the issue.

Try to get ASIO or at least WDM drivers working. MME is the weakest possible alternative.
ASIO should work if you set I/O drivers respectively and check that DUO is your recording and playback
    timing master.

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.

    RE -

"ASIO" is what I'm trying to set the driver to; however, the software will only allow me to use "Duo Capture Out" from the "Master Channel" for playback.  I get no signal during playback.

    Thank You

OK Got it; Just adjusted the "Buffer Size" within the "ASIO PANEL"  listed within the "Device Settings" I toggled this initially and altered the "buffering settings" after changing the driver to "ASIO" for some reason.  Eventually I realized it and adjusted it back to the original setting.

Thank You it works perfect.  ASIO is a lot better with virtually real time and no latency.

    Thanks
