[Solved] What happened to Arm/Disarm record during playback

Hi all,
In X2 we got a new feature that allowed arming/disarming recording during playback. We lost that feature, it seems, in X3. Does this work for anyone else? It was great when this worked. Any reason we lost this? Just curious.

    Hi Southpaw,

Right click the record button in the main transport and enable "Allow arm changes during playback/record." This setting is not enabled by default.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks!

It is a per-project setting in Preferences > Project > Record
Change project templates to set default behavior
