Is MIDI learn directly possible in Session Drummer 3 and SI Drum Kit ?

Now I am trying to assign specific parts of the SD3  / SI Drum kit to each pad of my Korg Nanopad, i.e., say, Kick to Pad 1, Snare to Pad 2, and so on. But just cant get it to work that way. Firstly, when I right click on an instrument, it gives some note numbers (more than one note number with one of them selected) but no option for MIDI learn. Secondly, I cant get to make these assignments through Active MIDI controller under my Control surfaces dialog as well. However, when I hit the pads, some of them by default seem to hit some of the parts, but definitely not to my liking and order. And all the parts dont get a hit under my 12 pads. So, I've got two questions :

1. Is direct MIDI learn possible at all in SD3 and SI Drum kit ? If yes, how to do it ?

2. If no is the answer to query 1, then is there any way to assign drum parts to my nanopads the way I want them ?

Thanks in advance.

The notes which trigger the sounds in SD3 and SI-Drums are hardcoded. Either program the input device to send the appropriate note data or create a drum map to translate the incoming data to the values the synths expect. Both synths have tables in their documentation providing note info. The notes are also shown when right-clicking the instrument pads.
