Alan, I can't think of two genres that are more different, yet they showcase your talent very well. The Tool song is one of my favorites, and a difficult song to cover. I think you nailed it! You got the guitar and sustain down as well as the stark bass and drums. The lead vocal is right on, which contrasts very well with your other song. The production on both numbers is excellent. Your dad should be proud.

Thanks Lynn, I can`t really take any credit for the Musicianship on either of the covers just my Vocals as for the Tool Cover , I used a karaoke track which was very lacking in the Bass and Drums department , so I found a Guitar backing track with just bass and drums on it which I had to cut and paste to line up with the karaoke track, I also used a midi file and addictive drums to add some flavour to the drums. As for the Little Texas cover that was just a Karaoke track and I added my Vocals.

Great song, "What might have been..." And you did an excellent version. I would pull the harmonies back just a bit to let the lead be "the lead?" I do this with the buses.... LV is "LV" and BV is "BV" And it sits behind LV, maybe spread a little. One of the best singers on the forum, behind "you know who..." ;-) It is really good, but could be better. The other tune I was not familiar with, but it was also very well performed.
Sittin downtown in a railway station one toke over the line.

Thanks Robby, the track I used was a Karaoke one so to turn down the BGV`s I`d have to turn everything down.

Don't know either of these songs Alan, but that didn't detract from the enjoyment of hearing such a fine pair of vocal performances. Excellent.

Alan, Nice job on both. I have always liked the song by Little Texas and you did a really nice version of it. Very versatile vocal abilities. Regards
