Mixdown/Convert song with LE1

Cakewalk Forum Community -

OK I've recorded a song with the "Duo Capture" and the LE1 software.  I am now trying to mix down/convert song to burn to a disc.  Will I have to get the "full version" of sonar to do this?

I tried the "export" feature from the "File" drop down menu.  It appeared to mix down; however, when I tried to burn the song to a disc using "Windows Media Player", it could not burn the format.

Thanks

If you are trying to burn an audio CD with WMP make sure to export the wav from SONAR using 44100 Sample Rate and 16 Bit Depth. You should also select a Dither when decreasing the Bit Depth.

In the Export window, select 44,100 as the sample rate and 16-bit as the bit depth. Make sure Dithering is on.

OK I see.  I've successfully burned the audio files down to CD's. I've played them with the "Windows Media Player" accessory and they play and sound Great!

Before the response from the community...

...I tried the "Burn audio CD" feature from the "Utilities" drop down menu and did not see to change the "settings" to "16 bit".  The "Dither" was already set to "triangular".  So originally the "bit" was set at "32".

Thanks
