Missing Plugins

My new X3 Studio install finds over 1000(!) plugins upon startup but shows only the ones that came with X3 when I add try to add an effect to a track. How do I access the rest? Thanks.

    Make sure to use the "Default All Plug-ins" layout. The layout selection is at the top of the menus and the down arrow on the right side of the Browser Plugins tab
