How do I get the templates from X2 to X3?

So after upgrading to X3 I noticed it right off when starting a new projects, but have just dealt with it manually because it was quicker for that moment. Now it seems to finally have become a PITA though.
So when I first start X3 it gives three choices to open a new project whereas X2 gives me a half dozen or more.
How do I get those template choices to show up in X3 like they do in X2?

drag/copy them from the X2 template folder to the X3 template folder or point to the X2 folder in X3 as the template folder. :)
