korg nanopad midi learn

how can i assign loops in matrix to pads of korg nanopad?
 
i right-click the loop in matrix and then select midi learn. i don't know what to do next.

    Make sure that your nanopad is sending note on messages. Set the matrix cell to midi learn. Hit the pad that you wish to use as the trigger pad. Midi learn will pick up the signal and respond to that same signal.

    sonar x1, tc near audio firewire, vista 32, intel core quad 2,5 ghz, 4gb ram
