A new sitcom--about electronic music?

Hilarity ensues when Robert Moog and Alan R. Pearlman become roommates!  Probably not.  It's hard to guess what kind of electronic music they're planning to portray.  The DJ makes me think "house" or some kind of dance stuff, but the writer of Trainspotting throws a little bit of doubt into the mix.

Well, since Robert is only decomposing now, I suppose that could lead to rap music, ya?

I was thinking that they might want to use actors to play the parts.

Irvine Welsh is great for a couple of books, but by the 2nd page of the third one you realize that it's going to be much the same as the other 2 you read....Trainspotting is a great read though if you can understand the broad Scottish vernacular.

Meaning they talk long and intimately about Scotch, golf and sheep, ya?
Maybe James can explain...

Well, here's an excerpt from the book, the language is fruity of course. I should imagine that to an American (or anyone who isn't familiar with the Scottish dialect), it's like reading Chaucer, as in "It's sort of like English and there are some words I understand but I don't know what all that other stuff means."

With Will Smith being one of the "show's many executive producers" (whatever that title means), i just hope he avoids nepotism like he did with the movie "After Earth" and putting his son Jaden in the lead role. Not trying to be too harsh, since I actually did like the movie, but unfortunately son Jaden was just not ready for a prime-time movie role.

Broken pencils are pointless.

It means they provided funding and in exchange they get certain "privileges" - hiring their sons, daughters, nephews, cousins twice removed, etc -  would be one of them.
