HoRNet AutoGain Pro

I'd bought Saverio's original AutoGain plugin last year because a) it was ridiculously cheap and b) I wanted to help a promising new developer get launched. To be honest, though, it was pretty limited and I never actually used it beyond some initial testing.

However, there's a new improved version out today, AutoGain Pro. If you've bought the original, the upgrade is just 10 bucks.

It's been fancied-up and extended with a new GUI, relative gain adjustment and filters on the sidechain input. And one crucial feature that might turn it into a truly useful tool, and that's a negative gain option. IOW, instead of tracking the volume of a reference track, you'll be able to mirror the volume of a reference track (e.g. ducking).

I haven't bought it, but I do plan to try the demo. I think I've still got 10 bucks from the last time I turned over the couch cushions :)

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

Got it. This officially ruins my New Years resolution to not spend any money on software for one year. I made it one month.

Sorry, Larry, I didn't mean to steal your thunder. But I see by the timestamps that we both posted at the same time, so it's a forgivable offense, yes?

Not identical but functionally similar. Cheaper isn't the only difference. It's also Not Waves.

I got a link in Saverio's email. It said "since you already own AutoGain, you can have the new AutoGain Pro for just 6,99 Euros". No discount code, just the link. If you didn't get the email, write to Saverio: s.vigni(at)hor-net.com

When I had purchased one product from HoRNet, I was getting emails from them.
Once I had purchased a second product from them, no more emails (and no, it's nothing to do with a spam folder or filter).
Weird, I have to watch this forum and their FB page for news about updates, etc.

It's a one-man operation, so he's managing his mailing list himself while simultaneously wearing engineer, programmer, support and marketing hats, plus his day job as web designer.

I'd expect an email asking to be put on the mailing list would be all that's needed. (Although you'd think as a web designer he'd have thought to include a subscription link :)

Tried that but it didn't work, I just have to watch for updates and send him a personal email and he does respond quickly.

Sorry for this email mess, for some reason some mails i sent are being rejected by various mail servers if i reply directly to the paypal receipts (as i usually do)
I'm working hard a the moment to create a new website with orders and product delivery included and automatically handled, so no more download link per mail but a user area with the link to all of your products.

I hope to have it ready by the next month.
