X3 Trial Features Not Working?

1. COLORS [SOLVED]  IT WORKS AS INTENDED!

2. MULTIDOCK

Plugins cannot be loaded into the Multidock from Track View, only Console View.

FX Chain window still loses it's main screen when loaded into the Multidock. Introduced in X2. X1 works fine.

Every TRIAL I've used has had some issues like these so I'm hoping that's all these are.

Thanks,
Steve

It's working fine here in X2 Producer.  Whatever colour I change the bus to, the track's routed to it follow.

You know you can set each track to either use "Default " or "Follow bus" don't you.  Check that each track you want to change is set to follow bus.  Do this by clicking on the left hand side of track strip or bottom of the console strip.

Thanks jb. I had it set in Preferences but not on each track.

I like this feature but it leaves out the associated MIDI tracks. I haven't decided if I like that part or not yet.

Yes, you're right.  I guess, literally, that the MIDI tracks aren't routed to a bus.

You could change them manually, I suppose. You can use quick grouping if there are several "going to the same bus".

I'm not sure about it, either.  I guess it does differentiate the MIDI tracks from the actual audio tracks routed to busses.  I quite like to see them as separate, and then hide them when I have finished editing them.  Less clutter, and then it doesn't really matter what colour they are.

Quick grouping to select track colour doesn't work for me, never has done

Select all your tracks so that the blue squares are lit. Hold ctrl and click on of the color bars. Keep holding ctrl and you should see the colors change as you hover over the different color choices.
