Where did my effects go?

Sonar x1d:  I have some projects.  I double click on one of the effects.  It does not open up, although it is there and clearly is processing the channel.  Ditto for most of my effects in all of my channels, regardless of whether I click them in the track inspector or the console view.  Are they maybe hidden somewhere?  I have looked high and low for them.  Also my prochannels seem to not be appearing.  I click on the button to show them, and a space opens up, but it is just a blank space.  Huh?
EDIT: It seems to be happening only with multivoice chorus, and only sometimes.  I haven't checked all of the effects, though.  I just put an instance of it in various FX bins, and sometimes it showed this behavior, sometimes not.  Wierd.

Have you checked behind your console and track views?
As far as your Pro-channel not showing up, I would maybe re-install it.

I looked behind everything, including the fridge.  The problem comes and goes, can't make heads nor tails out of it. Still can't see pro-channel, I dread a reinstall.
