IDK, all I can suggest is not to play your third party MIDI files in the sfz synths without cleaning them up in the event viewer.

Yep These midi files I have caused me grief - now that I know the root cause I'm fine and really am beginning to enjoy using X3 Producer and the other plugins... SIK!
 
Now to get some real guitar and KB instruments laid down
