[Answered] Changing Global Audio Folder: does X1 automatically migrate existing files?

I'd like to move a couple of the folders Sonar X1 places on my C drive to another HD. I see in Pref> File that I can tell Sonar where to put folders like "Global Audio Folder" etc., so I'm comfortable in how to make the change. However, will doing this change in prefs also cause Sonar to migrate existing files in the folder to the new designation, or do I have to do this myself?

Thanks for the replies,

Bob

Hi Bob. Copy the files yourself and then change the setting to the new location in Sonar folder preferences. If you move a folder and dont change this setting Sonar will simply ask for the folder location containing the audio files when you open a project.

Thanks for the quick replies. I'll give it a go later today, after backing up my data.
