I love Superbowl Sunday. It's a great day to go shopping or to a movie. No crowds.
World Cup, though, 'nother story - not a good time to go to a Mexican restaurant, or to ride an Italian cruise ship.
BTW, dub, how'd "our" Hawks do today?
bitflipper..our Hawks are giving out perhaps the most one sided beatdown in Super Bowl History. The only points Denver scored have been long after this game was a blowout. If this was regular season bith sides would have benched starters by now. The only drama left is how bad final score will be and which Seattle player gets MVP.

wow im shocked, was routing for the hawkeys the whole way but I never thought they would put the highest scoring team in nfl history down to only 8 points, kinda reminded me of when my patriots lost to the giants in the undefeated season. shocked.
by the way I called in sick for 2 days after that giants win.

You and me both Chuck. Its funny whenever they tout a game as going to be epic it often turns out as a blowout.
In this case it was like only one team was on the field.

Well, congrats to the Seahawks. They were focused, and they were there to win. They were on their game, and never let up.
On the other hand, that first play set the tone for Denver. We were just never mentally in the game.
I had hoped for a better showing, because there was plenty of talent on the field.
Disappointing as it was, at least I got to watch it.
