Can you toggle the ARA - Convert audio clip to MIDI function Off?

Can you toggle the ARA - Convert audio clip to MIDI function Off?

On Sonar Producer X3d - The ARA feature where you can drag an audio clip into a MIDI track and it is auto-converted to MIDI is a great one, but I find myself sometimes dragging in audio clips and accidentally dropping them in a MIDI track. This can result in quite a wait for the ARA process to do its thing if it was a long audio clip  
 
I don't see any Pref option for toggling this feature - Is there I way I can toggle it off, and on only when I might need it?

    I don't think so. You'll just need to be a little more careful about where you drop the audio. Color coding audio and midi tracks differently might help.
