Positive Vibe

Positive Vibe
Michael John

Hey all, here's a smooth jazzy type piece I just made for a radio show contest.  A rework of my 2006 "Retro Kind of Mood" but new melodies & arrangement.  Made in Sonar 8.  All sounds made with the best free soundfonts I could find.  And these sound good! Using just the SFZ plugin.  Features piano, sax, organ, bass, strings, acoustic guitar and drums.

Honey, get the dog. Where's my Frisbee? We're going to the park.
Oh wait. It's cold as heck outside.
Thanks for this breath of Summer, Mike.
    It's a tasty little tune.

Michael, Good to see you here on the Cakewalk Forum, guess I may have missed you in here before, but was connected to you when I was in Acid Planet (no longer there anymore). Anyway, really enjoyed the piece. Has a great refreshing sound and a great mix. Thanks for sharing.

I get a positive vibe just knowing that you have found a few free fonts, played with them, and turned out something eminently listenable.
There is a jazz festival happening at Halls Gap (next door to me) this weekend and I'm just in the mood for this tune.
