Sonar X3 Studio , folder locations / Pro-channel

Hi i just got Sonar X3d, now when i gonna save a new template
i can't find the folder location ,where is it ?

( Edit: just found it , C:\Cakewalk Content\SONAR X3 Studio\Project Templates )

Second question ( melodyne )
what is the best default folder location of it, and do you use the vst3 rather than vst2.

    Depends on the template type but both locations are defined in Preferences > File > Folder Locations
     
    ARA uses the VST3 version. The location of VST3 plug-ins is defined by the VST3 spec.

    Thanks ,don't know mutch about ARA, need to dig into that

    concerning melodyne installed as vst2, and its overrided, by the vst3 plugin
    is it just safe to delete the vst2 folder of it, in windows explorer without causing any problems !

    Pro-channel question !
    I need a few Pro-channel plugins later on. Studio was only shipped with an
    basic 4 knob pro-channel EQ and the Softube Saturation knob.

    What Compressor(s) like 2 of em, should i go for, if i should choose to
    buy 1 by 1 plugins at a time.

    If i should get 4 pro-channel plug's in total, what do you use most ?

    (Edit: i have only X3d now, as i did a complete windows re install, just to be sure everything works, hopefully )

    Nice... ;-/ my first crash of sonar X3d using a simple midi track and Dimension LE
    and adjusting the EQ on the Dim LE pro-channel EQ

    That took just 5 mins... , any solutions that i do not know of ?
