Free City Piano

The City Piano is a fully sampled Baldwin Baby Grand with 4 velocity layers and release samples. It is free and public domain. do anything you like with it. It is also completely dry, so hopefully it will be a good base for adding reverberation, convolution and all the other ations.

Err sorry I can't post links. I guess google it if you care to.

Hear ya Bapu. The demos sound good and bandwidth is cheap out here, so here goes another piano... Found a KRV link to the downloads:

and a link to the Dev's blog with other instruments:

Thank you BigCat for the free offering. Sounds like a lot of work went into this.

Thanks for posting the links. You'll want page one of that thread.
The main redeeming feature is that it's a Baldwin which are everywhere, but never sampled, so its a bit different than the standard Steinway/Yamaha digital piano.

On the first page of the thread JonnKenn kindly linked you'll find a Sampletank 2.5 version with everything but the release samples and lighter versions for SFZ and VSTi. The VSTi is my first try with Maise, if folks can get it working, I'll attempt a full version with that.

At the bottom of that first post on the thread JonnKenn kindly linked (that's a mouthful), I dropped three derivative Kontakt 5 pianos if anyone wants some specialty types.  A wild west salon piano, a soft intimate piano and a cassette tape piano.
