Great vocal work. Sometimes the simple things in life are the best. If you want some feedback on this song, I thought the guitar could use just a little treatment, it was a little too clean. But maybe that's what you were after.

Well sung Tony. The guitar sounds really good/well recorded. This is exceptional and the mix is like fine chocolate... My only change if I could make one would be to pull those background vox down just a touch, or maybe just have a master vocal bus where you send the lead and back-up and limit all of it and send it to the mains, this is how I usually tackle it when I have something with the lead and several backing tracks. It's easier for me than trying to ride the faders. i.e., LV to the Voc master, BV to the BV Bus, treat and pan as needed, send to the Voc master, send all instruments to the instrument master, and send both of those sub masters to the mains. Then you can compress and limit the two sub-masters, and then apply the finishing touches on the mains. No one told me to do this, it's just something I came up with through trial and error. However, there are many ways to skin the cat ;-) And you're a pretty good cat skinner ;-) Much better than me and most!

This is a very exquisite tune with a sublime melody and chord progression.  It's beautifully understated which only adds to its charm.  It's good to go.

    really nice..
    love the vocal approach
reminds me of a cross between prince, gay and mayfield
    nice blending on the harmonies
it's a good capture of the acoustic as well....
nice fat bass tone, i'd almost bring that level up a bit on it.
i like that one minor chord in the bottom of the chorus turnaround......

You could sing the phone book and it would sound awesome.

Love the changes on this. And, how you followed melodically with the voc. Heard some melodyne helping out a little I think:)

The harmonies were nice. The vocals were very crisp. However at times the guitar seemed a bit out of sync them.

I like the jazz-ish feel to this number.  Interesting chord combo's that you have got going.  Excellent vocals -- they certainly express the emotions of the lyrics.  BTW the lyrics are very good also.  Harmonies really round everything out.
    Nice one!!!

    Hey, Tony,

Phenomenal job on this soulful ballad!

Spectacular vocals as always, great writing and arranging, and the mix sounds warm and has that very intimate "in the room" feel.

Excellent work, bro, you never disappoint.  Have a good one, my friend!
