Kontakt midi notes not sounding

Hi all,
 
Just started playing with Komplete Abbey Road 60s drums and transferred a midi part from EZDrummer and only the crash is sounding. The X3 piano roll midi editor keyboard and the Kontakt keyboard will play the rest of the kit but the corresponding notes in line with the keys won't trigger.
 
Any clues?
 
I've saved and reopened the project - same problem.

    Ah...never mind, needed to select a midi channel...bit confusing, nevertheless

    I have run into this with Kontakt and other VIs.  I now routinely select everything in the track and use Find/Change to set it all toe MIDI channel 1 (if it is a single instrument).  Glad you're back in business.
