Audio clips with dotted lines?

I have a bunch of clips drawn in dotted lines that won't play.  Somehow I did this by accident.  They are not muted.  This looks familiar, but I can't remember what it is nor how to undo it.   Someone remind what this is.
Thanks!
Sorry, I figured this out (drag mute tool through upper half), please ignore.

Win7 64 bit, I&-3770, two hard drives, 16 gigs ram, MOTO 24i with PCI 424 card.

They are muted. You must of accidentally muted these clips with a key-bind or the mute tool. That's all it is and its nothing that cannot be undone by unmuting the clips
