OT!! Interesting video for those complaining about DAW capabilities

I just happened across this video which is a commentary by Brian May during remastering of "Bohemian Rhapsody." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z85YsUAU6pA  It is very interesting listening to his comments about "how it was," and the immense limitations that DAW users are not hobbled by today...
 
I guess it just puts things in perspective for me when I hear people who default to whining and complaining...

    Studio owner to tape deck manufacturer: "I want rewind to position exactly on the beat, why don't you do that? Studer, Ampex and Tascam do."
     
    Tape deck manufacturer: "We know about that bug and we'll be (hopefully) implementing that in the next version of the deck."
     
    Studio owner to tape deck manufacturer: "I'll get that upgrade for free, correct?"
     
    Tape deck manufacturer: "No but the upgrade fee will only be $16,000.00..........(long silence)"
     
    Studio owner to tape deck manufacturer: "I'm outta here...."

    Yes, when I hear some complaints these days I feel like handing them a razorblade and splice block.  Or a polaroid of a minimoog and say program that, sucker.  Now that I'm older I can barely make out the knobs, much less the pointer.
