Preparing PC for X3.

After demoing x3 I have now purchased X3s and it will be here in a few days. As well as uninstalling x3 demo via windows, are there other folders I should delete manually?
I will only be running x3 and BFD eco to construct some Pink Floyd drum and keyboard backing tracks. I'd like to run these live from x3 so I can alter the mix and drop instruments when needed. Any recording of guitars and vox would be in my home.  What sort of spec should I look for in a lap top given that I will be just using it as a player.
If the drum tracks are made using BFD does the audio get recorded or does x3 open up bfd everytime I play a song?

Thanks.

You probably didn't need to delete the demo,, I thought they just unlock it if you buy it or is it X3 Studio you bought? But I have the X1 Demo lurking in my DAW and it's not in the way, I guess I should get rid of it.

The topic of buying a laptop for using as a live rig is beyond the scope of on line forum advice. You will become more confused with each answer. Bottom line is off the shelf laptops are a crap shoot because of background processes that sometimes cannot be ride of. The specs are only part of the magic formula.  My recommendation is you ask if you can run DPCLAT utility on a machine before you buy it.
There is a computer forum here and you'll get answers from some very knowledgeable people who build them for a living.
You can run VST plug ins live, or you can bounce them to an audio track. VST's do start using up resources but a modern laptop ( if you get the right one) will have no problems.
