Sonar 3 R16 compatability

Hi
I have Sonar x2 but mainly use cubase elements 6 as I could not get the R16 to work with Sonar x2 plus I find Cubase easy to work with (more intuitive ) for doing simple things like the scissor and rubber tool to select and delete bits of a track I don't want (I am not saying it is any better than Sonar as a Daw in case I upset anyone here just that for me I find it easier to use) . However have been offered a good deal by Cakewalk to upgrade to X3 and it looks a very nice DAW and if I could get it to work with my Zoom R16 that would clinch the deal for me so anyone use the R16 without a problem with X3?

Please make sure you launch the X3 installer with the explicit Run As Administrator, as it give the install process more execution privileges than you get normally - even if the user account is an administrator.

X3d is quite stable, and lots of folks are pretty happy with it.

Many people in the forum have more than 1 set of recording software - lots of people do different tasks in different software.  Nothing wrong with that.  I wish I had that kind of money, though I would probably spend it on better reference monitors or food.  :)
