Does anyone else cringe as much as me when Russell Brand speaks?

I have friends on Facebook raving about this guy. But to me he just sounds like a 16 year old stoner who's just discovered politics. I have no opinion about his "stand up" act because I've never seen it. All I know is that whenever I hear him talk "seriously" about issues I feel embarrassed for him. Did anyone see his interview with John Snow? Just watched it on YouTube and had to turn it off halfway through because I was cringing so much. Maybe I would enjoy his comedy more, who knows.

He's a muddled-headed, infantile buffoon with an enormously misjudged sense of his own importance. I have no idea why he gets airtime.

John Snow really hands his ass to him in that interview. Low hanging fruit I know, but still....

Brand's body language in that interview says a lot more than his words do..all the bending forward, raising his palm, as good as saying ''please stop, I'm out of my depth''

Yeah the irony of those "talk to the hand" gestures is that you'd probably get more sense out of it.

Dug him in Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Get Him to the Greek.

As for the rest, suffice to consider the nauseating quantity of bloggers out there to realize that if you give anyone a tribune, they'll automatically assume that they do have opinions worth sharing just about anything. Actors and musicians are no different.

I've not liked RB in any movies or stand up routines I've caught.

Can't stand him to the point that I wouldn't watch a movie that he's in.

But JB would be first choice for a biopic about Lowell George..
