what's the scoop on the steinberg UR-44

Trying to get organized for the new computer and the Layla3G has to go..  6 ins is plenty...  For some reason have an adversion to Presonus...kinda like Fender Squire... but that's my problems.  Would like to stay in the <$500 for sure and equal or better than the Layla.  Babyface is slightly too much....but may have to re evaluate.  Maybe the MOTU Ultralight?  But this Steinberg is a couple hundred less  $277 at amazon

    Ur 44 would be better than presonus. the UR series does very decent low latency and has decent sound
    best in class for that price range.

    I hope we answered? or I should say if we didn't answer we didn't get it.. had some host issues with email lately.. finally moving to a new host (after threating for yrs) but that's taking forever to move and test. just about ready to change DNS..

    oh $250 when we get more (about 10 days) amazon ran me out today.
