Two cheesy tunes
Some weeks ago my girlfriend wished an own tune so I made two for her at swedish Valentines day last friday. They are very cheesy (is that a bad word?) but I had been experimenting with recording violin in my room and started to get a descent tone out of it, so I was eager to recording something. Both songs are arranged for violin and piano. I used Addictive Keys for the piano sound. To AnnaThis was recorded in a haste and I just cut some low freq in EQ and put on some verb (Breverb 2). Some light compression and Concrete limiter on the master. I actually like this violin sound better. The beginning of the song sounds stolen, but I don't know from what... http://www.soundclick.com...ngid=12685517&q=hi Memories from the pastThis recording has some ugly sounding features and I thought I couldn't get it any better (after 20 takes) so I tried to EQ it out. No compression but Concrete limiter on he master, Reverb with Breverb 2. http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=12685518&q=hi If you like cheese, these are for you!

Wow, it just shows that one person's cheese is another person's life story. These are lovely pieces that should make any woman happy. I, for one, happen to love cheese. And, btw, your Swedish Valentine's Day just happens to fall on Hallmark cards Day, here in the USA.

Thank you Lynn for listening and your kind comments! Haha I had to google Hallmark cards day and well, it's good that we always can give away a song instead of buying something expensive on these commercial holidays.

I listened to 'Till Anna' - nothing cheesy about that, it's beautiful.

Hi Lasse, nice tunes and tones, To Anna is almost to sweet but Memories from the past is very nice and melancholic. Sounds like a nice salon recital. Well done. Rik
