Best Cakewalk sonar x1 le settings for lead vocals?

Hello,

I just got my Samson C03U mic with the including Cakewalk sonar x1 le software, i was wondering how i can optimize the sound quality for lead vocals.
I have been looking in the Audio FX but i haven't really found something good yet.

Ps: iam just new to recording vocals/recording software so any tips would be great :)

    Welcome to the forum.
There is no particular setting for vocals; what effects you use will depend on your voice and how you want it to sound.
Bear in mind also that any effects you use are not recorded, they are added to the output.
And, if you're serious about getting into computer recording, ditch the USB microphone and buy an audio interface designed for recording and a quality dynamic or condenser mic to plug into the interface.
That's because most USB mikes almost always have to use the MME driver mode in order to work. MME will not deliver adequate latency numbers, so you will always have a delay from when you record something to when you hear it.

I am selling my MIM Fender Stratocaster HSS, red and black. PM for more details.

Music Creator 2003, MC Pro 24, SONAR Home Studio 6 XL, SONAR  X3e, CbB, Focusrite Saffire, not enough space.
    Everything is better with pie.

The hype of advertising. But simply you record your voice, but like 57Gregy stated, there are differences, and I guess in my opinion - degrees (of how you want to sound in the end which "may" take more equipment than just a simple USB microphone).
