Most definitely....I got Eco for $29 a while ago...and I got the Zildjian Digital Vault V2 for $25 from AudioMIDI...that included BFD Eco DV, which would let you load all the cymbals at one time and other drum kits too..
It also provides an upgrade path to BFD 3....

I did the same thing Larry. fxpansion makes good expansion kits also. But Platinum has some real good ones too. I got about three of those. Caught those on sale too!! : ) BFD Eco at that price is a steal!!

Zildjian Digital Vault V2 for $25??? You just ruined my day! ;) I need to have some kind of alert somehow set up when there is a phenomenal drum/cymbal related deal like that for BFD, Superior Drummer or KONTAKT!!!

Same here - got the Eco and DV specials a while back during two different sales. The DV pack definitely has my favorite collection of cymbals.

Hmm...I forgot to add Addictive Drums to that list (and I have an earlier version of Steven Slate Drums too). Hey, does anyone know if AudioMidi is still in business? There were threads about that at KVR last year and the consensus seemed to be that AudioMidi is no longer in full operation but keeps its site up. Does anyone here know for sure? I admit that I seriously do miss their no-brainer sales.

Installed and played with BFD Eco last night. I'd say it is quite something for that price - definitive well spent 29$ Good collection of grooves included as well! If just all money were this well spent...

I didn't think there was an upgrade path from BFD Eco to BFD3 ? I think it's only from BFD2 and now BFD2 has been dropped by fxpansion anyone wanting to upgrade from Eco to BFD2 will have to find BFD2 at the upgrade price elsewhere. Steve

Due to GAS and all this peer pressure in here, I finally got in on Eco. I'm sure that cloud of upgrade will soon be coming over the horizon and I'll be drumatically consumed.

I got the upgrade from Eco to 2 and then 3 from JRRShop...they had it as a bundle...for far less then just the upgrade to 3 from 2. But I think that was an "intro" thing. Best bet...buy BFD 2 on KVR and then upgrade from there...and you may find the upgrade from Eco to 2 for dirt cheap and then do the upgrade.

I just hope that option will be around for as long as people want it but at some point they're going to run out or stock since (I think) all the BFD2's that people are able to get hold of are the original boxed versions and not the download ones ? Was yours a boxed version Larry ? Steve Well done Jimusic, don't know what drums you're using right now but Eco is certainly a lot better than EZdrummer or Session Drummer IMHO and in many ways I think it's better than Addictive drums or at least on a par.

Twad...no, it was a download. I only had Eco, and when BFD 3 first came out JRRShop offered the BFD2 upgrade and the BFD 3 upgrade in a single purchase. Glad I could get in on that....that was pure luck.

That's interesting, if JRRShop have it available as a download and as long as fxpansion are happy to give out serials and licences it should mean it will be available for some time in theory at least. Not sure I understand why fxpansion took BFD2 off from their site now ? Steve

Yeah - I never really got into Session Drummer much. I did buy EZ Drummer for cheap & then quickly up'd to Superior Drummer 2 for $79.00. Don't have Addictive Drums, as I passed on Sonar X3, but I fired up this Eco yesterday & today, & it looks pretty cool - especially for $29.
