How to Set the Audio Folder for Projects

I have a project that was created with a per-project audio data subfolder. But I just discovered that when I freeze tracks,
the wav file gets written to the default Cakewalk Projects\Audio Data folder.

How do you tell the project to *not* do that, but instead put all audio-related files in the local audio data subfolder?

I ask because as I mentioned, I created the project with a local audio subfolder, but it switches out depending on how I'm
creating the audio!

Any advice?

Have you checked your respective settings in the Preferences? I'm not at my DAW now, but there are numerous options for path settings.

Go to preferences and select per project audio folders. You find this under Files and Audio Data.

Then all you need do is re-save your project.
