Staff view users don't use Take Lanes?

In the Piano Roll view we have a way to hide notes of muted MIDI clips (View > Hide Muted Clips) but I can't find the same menu in the Staff view. Does this mean that Staff view users don't use my favorite feature called Take Lanes?
Or is the menu hidden somewhere?

In my opinion, muted clips shouldn't appear in the track in the first place when the lanes are collapsed, but according to CW the current behavior is "as intended" and I wonder what their intention is. It seems to me a design flaw.

Unfortunately they offered no feedback. I submitted a feature request last year (to make muted clips invisible in the track when the lanes are collapsed) so I'm hoping X3e or X4 will implement it.

My guess would be that most Staff View users aren't editing multi-take recordings there. They're composing the old fashioned way, creating one perfect "take" with their mouse, so being able to hide muted takes isn't necessary.

    Thanks. That makes sense.
