I got my arm stuck inside my Martin..any ideas to fix ?
The jack that accepts the guitar cord and holds the strap onto my Martin acoustic guitar has become so loose that I'm afraid the wires inside are being twisted.
I tried to get my arm in the sound hole with the strings off and I almost tore the front off of my guitar and I got my arm stuck in there.Even then I don't think I was withing 5" of the nut inside. The only thing I can think of is to find a smallish person with small hands and arms.Do they make a tool for this?

I truss once you find a smaller armed person you won't fret any more.

Send in a very, very small person - they can collect the fluff and lost plectrums whilst they're in there.

Prices for "specialty" tools...or just about any tools for guitar work will inspire one to keep their hands to themself. If I added up and mentioned what I spent on tools for a "hobby" to build...it would be embarrassing and people would not just think I'm nuts...they'd know. One may see the value of knowing a good guitar tech that lives close by lol. psst...(whispering...Star......K-Y next time?)
