I did the same as you and got Cinematic Guitars for $79 on black Friday.  Honestly I haven't used it all that much, but it's a nice package for $79.
 
Cinematic Guitars 2 is usually $399 and with the 40% off still comes in at $239 and change.
 
still a bit too steep for my blood, but the demos sound pretty good.

I've been unable to register the serial# for my copy from mf and have got no response from SL or NI to my queries as to the # coming up "already used"
 
Just called mf and they're dealing with it...either sending a new copy or getting a new working #.
 
That's +10 for real stores and a big fat zero for SL/NI.

for guitar i got the Fab four and  with nice rebverbs and ampsim you got that epic cinematic guitar sounds ....i'm really trying to resiste piking up morphestra !

i will try to get more infos on Impact Soundworks  never tried / owned any of their stuff ....
 
Morphestra : i'm more about ambiances than those impact buls**** that i already have in Heavyocity crap ....

cliffr... just downloaded Juggernaut... very cool.  Also want Hybrid Alpha, another fully wave file setup of whoosh/bangs, risers, downers, impacts, transitions... developed by/with Daniel James, who I truly adore.
 
On the guitar front, I know Shreddage 2 will take awhile to get down but some of the stuff on soundcloud is just amazing... could never play that! I'll check out musiclab (oh, no!) Boy, that guy playin' the keytar is good!!!
 
My main thought is which is easier to get down... loved Andrews videos on shreddage... really helps me understand the process, which is totally different than playing a guitar!
 
As to SL...they could have at least responded...several attemps! EW gets a bad rap a lot but they offer great deals and their new play engine is working great.  I know the autotune guys use to get a bad rap but they've always responded quickly to me.  Not that I've used it much (gotta stop buying things I wont use!)
 
Morphestra... yea, huge ambience packages... and 40% is enticing but I've got ambience up the butt already!  As I'm playing around more with low orchestrations to stir up emotion about climate issues, I'm trying to get the "impacts"/whooshbangs down... really changes the character of songs...and this'll be my second forey into it, with real waves to use from now on...so much easier to line up!  Well, I'm off to play with "Juggs!"

Musician's Friend... bought lots of SL software from them.
