Guitar Tracks 4 and 3rd party drum wav loops

Hello,
 
I have purchased some blues/rock drum samples to include as backing in Guitar Tracks 4 with the VS -20 DAW. These are 24 bit wave files which play fine, and can be opened with other wave editors (Audigy). I have loaded them into the sample directory of Guitar Tracks, and can listen to the previews of them, but I cannot drag and drop them into the track view like the other included samples. These is even when making the bpm equal for song and the loops. I have tried different audio drivers and anything else I can think of.
Has anyone else come across this, and is there a fix (or maybe I am just doing something wrong)!

    The VS-20 only processes at 44.1 and 16 bits.
