X3 Edit Tool - Moving the Split point between two clips not working-again

When using the Smart Tool (or Edit Tool), there used to be a spot when you rolled over two clips on the same track where a double-bracket would show and you could just move the split point between the two clips. In Sonar X3 it seems to be gone.

The same issue happened with Sonar X2, but they fixed it. Now it has appeared again. Anyone having the same issue and missing the previous functionality?
I made a couple of videos and posted them here to show what I'm talking about. I did submit a bug report as well, but they usually take quite a while to get back to you.

I believe it works correctly on take lanes using the smart tool, but not on the collapsed track.  Not sure if this is a "feature" or a bug, but either way I agree it is useful to be able to move the split point as in X2.

Thanks for the tip neirbod. I don't use take lanes much. I hope they re-instate the X2 way as using take lanes will create a bit of a pain. I do a lot of long-form voice over editing with multiple edit points and removal of non-voice noises (smacks, clicks, mouth noises, etc.) and take lanes just adds another step or two (or three) to the process.
